Can I use this software even if I don’t know Photoshop?

Absolutely, Darkroom Booth is intuitive and easy to use and features a built-in template editor where you can drag and drop images with full customization for your photo booth.

Can I use a Mac? What kind of computer do I need?

Darkroom Booth is a Windows software and there is currently no Mac OS version available. Booth will run fine on any computer or laptop running Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 7.

What is the cost and is there a yearly charge?

Darkroom Booth 3 is one-time purchase for the full software and includes 1 year of software updates and maintenance. When your maintenance plan expires, your software will still continue to function but you will not have access to support or the latest versions of Darkroom Booth. A one year maintenance plan is available for $95.

Can I send photos to a phone for sharing?

Yes, Darkroom Booth has many social sharing features including the ability to send photos to attendee’s phone.

Can I upload photos directly to Facebook?

While Facebook has ever changing restrictions on how outside programs post and interact, Darkroom Booth does have Facebook integration enabling the posting of photos to a Facebook album. See this knowledge base article for more information.

Does Booth work on an iPad?

Darkroom Booth 3 is a Windows only application and does not run on an iPad. However, Darkroom does offer Booth for iPad, a distinct program available in the Apple store. Read more and download a free trial here.

Can I use Booth on multiple computers?

When purchased from the Darkroom website or from a licensed dealer Darkroom Booth can be installed and activated on 2 computers at the same time. Booth can be installed and used in trial mode on any Windows computer to create templates and events that can then be transferred. Please see this knowledge base article for more information.
