Our latest customer profile is of Misty Rayson, owner of Rayson’s Creations Kaptured Memories. Her business has been serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since 2019.
What’s your story? Tell us about your business.
As a 29-year veteran educator, I’ve spent my career teaching animation, audio/video production, commercial photography, and graphic design, always searching for innovative ways to keep creativity alive and the “sparks” flying in my classroom. Creativity has never been just something I teach, it’s how I live. But like many parents, I reached a turning point when my children left for college. With my husband coaching and our home suddenly quieter, I found myself asking, “What’s next?”
That question led me to discover an industry that reignited something in me. What started as curiosity quickly became purpose. With faith leading the way, we launched Rayson’s Creations Kaptured Memories, not just as a business, but as an experience-driven brand rooted in creativity, connection, and joy.
What makes us different is that we embrace every event as an opportunity to create a meaningful, customized experience that reflects the people we serve. We take the time to understand the vision behind each celebration and intentionally design moments that feel personal, engaging, and memorable for every guest. My background in education shapes everything we do. We’re intentional, organized, and always thinking about how to elevate the experience.
Our customers love us because they can feel the heart behind the work. We bring energy, reliability, and a genuine passion for what we do. At the end of the day, it’s not just about photos. It’s about capturing moments that matter and creating experiences people will never forget.
Tell us about a particular event you’re proud of.
Every event we serve is special to me, so it’s hard to choose just one. As a family-owned and operated business, the most meaningful moments often come from working side by side with the people I love. Each event is an opportunity not only for us to create new and exciting experiences for our clients and their guests, but also for my family and team to experience something new right alongside them. That shared excitement is something I truly cherish.
I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon, so being able to now create and provide elite, high-level experiences alongside my children, siblings, and extended family is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about the service we provide, it’s about the opportunities we’re creating together and the memories we’re building as a team.
One experience that stands out is working with the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Being part of an event of that caliber was a full-circle moment for us. It reminded me how far we’ve come and what’s possible when passion, faith, and hard work come together. Our team showed up in a major way, and it’s something I will always be proud of.
At the end of the day, the events may vary, but what stays constant is the heart behind what we do. Our team is truly phenomenal, and I’m grateful for every opportunity we’ve had to grow, serve, and create unforgettable experiences together.
How has it been working with Imaging Spectrum?

What printers do you use?
I currently use the DNP DS620A Printer and DNP RX1HS Printer, and I’ve recently added the SwiftFoto Multimedia Printer to my fleet. Having all three has given me incredible flexibility in how I serve my clients.
I love the diversity each printer brings. It allows me to adapt to different event needs, from high-volume printing to more customized or specialty requests. Because of that versatility, I’m able to confidently say yes to more opportunities and create an experience that truly fits each event.
