Darkroom had been a major success in my business. Since adding it to my list of services, It has grown immensely. Thank your Darkroom
Nice to hear John! Thanks for your comment.
I would first like to thank you for your interest but n my business during these trying times. I am a brand new booth owner, November of 2019. I have had 22 cancellations this year, and only 4 rescheduled for next year. I see there is going to be a large need for more booths next year, at least in the Cleveland area. Not enough booths for all the events. I have ordered a new booth with darkroom booth 3 already installed from Photo Booth International but not the printer for it because they were charging 1,200 for a new one. I think I can do better on my my own from B&H or some place like that.
That’s great Anthony – we agree, demand will come back strong next year so good to prepare now. By the way, check out our friends at Imaging Spectrum for your printer needs – great prices and support you won’t get from the other guys. Good luck and let us know how we may assist.
Darkroom has been incredibly successful in my business. The camera quality isn’t the only thing customers are looking for, the print quality is very important as well. In the beginning of 2020, my business lost 3 events within the first month of the lock down & 4 reschedule for 2021. I’ve been trying to get reacquainted with darkroom rather than just operating the booth to just get through an event. And been learning new things. We’re thinking if upgrading for 2021. And to keep things short, that’s how I darkroom.
We just finished a Christmas this morning doing photo buttons. It’s not like previous years but we are getting by.
We created a smile program where we take their pic, put it on a button in 20 seconds and they wear it so their customer, patient or student can see their actual Face!
What a great idea – I love this. Would you mind sharing your workflow, printer, button machine, etc. Thank you!
I have been using four of the DNP Rx1 printers in my photobooths. I have to say they are reliable printers. I have brought one in the house so my daughter can print 4×6 print albums for Christmas for her friends. I would love to win this DNPprinter to use in my Photo Booth.
I am just curious as to why there is no support when we use our photo booths? I usually rent out friday and saturday nights. And if something goes wrong which it usually does I have no help available. I have a group of friends we call each other and try to help one another out but the software support is no where to be found. Just wondering if any one else feels this way?
All software companies that have 24/7 tech support are much more expensive than Darkroom Booth. Even as head of tech support for Imaging Spectrum and an 11 year booth operator, I set up my booth on Thursday for weekend gigs in case I have an issue.
On nights and weekends, here are some tech options:
Darkroom’s help center: https://support.darkroomsoftware.com/portal/en/kb/booth
You can email Darkroom for some easy emergencies. [email protected]
This is a user operated page, but Darkroom and Imaging Spectrum tech do reply:
