Now you can use the new Darkroom email server instead of third party providers such as gmail and yahoo when delivering photos via email with Darkroom Booth. While all great email services, sometimes these providers can be glitchy when it comes to providing solid service at photographic related events due to passwords, ports and security settings. Using the Darkroom email server can help avoid issues at your next event and it is reliable and easy to set up. This video will show you how to set up the Darkroom email server and add your own email address so customers can reply to your business directly.
You can also add custom HTML to your email. The knowledge base article linked below will show you how and it provides sample HTML files to get you started.

I’m a long time user & have Darkroom Pro and Core v 9.2, I do not see where I can add a Darkroom email server. Is this feature in these editions? I cannot get the ‘regular’ yahoo, gmail etc accounts to work at all.
Hi Jerry, it’s nice to hear from you. I know you from Kodak days. Please note that the new email server mentioned is only available for Darkroom Booth software. We will be adding the server to Darkroom Core and Pro later this year. Please contact us if you need support by emailing [email protected]
I also don’t see the default Darkroom email server on my DR Booth v3.00.802

I am having an issue switching the photo to phone option from Twilio to an Email account. For some reason, the drop down area isn’t highlighted in order for me to change the SMS provider. I recently renewed my maintenance plan and am covered until next year.
Hi Falcon, Please contact our support team, they can help you with this. Simply email [email protected], a support ticket will be created and one of our software specialists will contact you.
