Important Update: Gmail Security Changes and Darkroom Software

Dear Darkroom Software Customers,

We want to inform you about an important change that may affect your workflow. Starting September 30, 2024, Google will be discontinuing the use of its less secure login options for Google accounts. This update will impact any applications that use Gmail, including Darkroom Booth, Booth for iPad, Darkroom Core, and Pro. If you rely on Gmail to send photos through any of these products, this change will affect you. For more details from Google, please visit: Google Support

We’ve Got You Covered!

Earlier this year, we added a built-in email server to all Darkroom products, including Darkroom Core, Pro, Booth, and Booth for iPad. This built-in server is the safest, fastest and most reliable way to send photos via email at your events. If you have an active Darkroom maintenance plan, you can download the latest version, which includes this feature. Read more about software updates in the Darkroom Help Center.
