I did the URI, and… drum roll please!
Bingo! Homerun! Darkroom Pro v9.20.2233 allows tethering of the Nikon D500. I tried it with USB 3.0 cable to PC, with USB 3.0 cable from camera to USB 2.0 extension cable to PC.
I even tried a simple Micro USB cable, the type used for charging the latest cellphones and it was able to tether!
I declare today, you are the man! please take the rest of the day and the next two days off!
