The busy holiday season is upon us. It’s a good time to do a little check-up and maintenance on your event photography and photo booth equipment. Especially if you haven’t used it in a while. Inspect and test your camera and lighting equipment, clean and test your photo printers, inspect and test connectivity cables, and yes, your software too.
Are you up to date on your software maintenance plan?
In order to continue to have access to the built-in Darkroom email server you may need to renew your maintenance plan. Both the email server and online storage for use with Twilio do require you to be in a maintenance plan. (The cost of the maintenance plan helps Darkroom provide and maintain the email service.) Your plan expiration date is shown in the System info (see screenshots below). It’s always a good idea to keep your software up to date, especially if the software plays a crucial part in running your business. To renew just download and install the latest version and install over your current, activated version and you will be prompted to purchase the renewal. The maintenance plan provides you with one year of software updates and technical support. If your software maintenance plan is already current it’s still a good idea to download and install the the most current version.
